After a long career as a high school coach in the Las Vegas area, Jimmy May retired from coaching scholastically and got away from the hustle and bustle of Sin City. Where did May end up? About the furthest place away when it comes to comparing lifestyles.

May traded high school coaching in Vegas to college coaching in Baldwin City, Kansas. Dan Harris, the A.D. at Baker University, a school older than the state of Kansas, got the sport added and May was selected the program’s first head coach.

What does May think about starting up this new program? Kyle Klingman and Jason Bryant find out. Listen below.

One of the great things about the National Duals isn’t just the team excitement aspect, but how many great ranked wrestlers hit in each round, seemingly all over the place. The Division I rankings go 20-deep, so you’re going to see more ranked guys battling each and every round. While the new rankings haven’t been pushed out at the time of this post, according to December 23, there are 87 ranked wrestlers (of 200) in the field.

That’s an average of 8.7 ranked wrestlers per weight with the most wrestlers ranked at any weight coming at 141 pounds, which should continue to make the rankings convoluded as all get out.
