After a solid career at the University of North Carolina and coaching stints at Davidson and Watagua High School, JohnMark Bentley was named the new head wrestling coach at Appalachian State last week.

With all the scuttlebutt surrounding the hirings and firings and movement in Division I, Paul Mance quietly retired after 33 years as the head wrestling coach at Appalachian State and assistant, JohnMark Bentley, fills the role.
