We had a real treat in the noon hour on Wednesday when Kyle Klingman and I had the priviledge to inteview the author of Vision Quest, Terry Davis.
Davis penned Vision Quest in 1976 but it wasn’t published until 1979. The now-retired Creative Writing professor at Minnesota State is working on a screen play and a novel but took time out to give Wrestling 411 the details of Vision Quest, the movie and its significance.

Nice interview. Terry is a very engaging man and his love for wrestling is obvious in his discussions. It’s interesting how it appeals to those (like myself) who have never wrestled before, but loved the film because the characters he created felt like real people. Plus Lunatic Fringe still kicks ass.
